Children shot in SW Philly

PHILADELPHIA. A 2-year-old boy and his 8-year-old brother were recovering yesterday after being innocent victims of a shooting near their Southwest Philadelphia home.

An unknown gunman followed his target, Marquis Wesley, into a cell phone store Saturday. When Wesley, 19, left the store, the shooter followed, firing six shots.

Playing in front of his house about 25 feet away, the 2-year-old was struck in the leg and his older brother in the buttocks. Both remained at CHOP last night.
