$10K reward offered in construction site vandalism

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information on the vandals who destroyed an estimated $4 million in construction equipment.

Police said the incident happened at a site on the 6600 block of State Road between 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday. A supervisor for the Walsh Group reported that when he arrived on site, someone had destroyed their equipment, which included a crane, bulldozer and compressors.

Police said this is the second incident of vandalism on a Walsh Construction site. The first was this past Labor Day.

The company posted the reward through the Citizens Crime Commission for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the perpetrator or perpetrators. Anyone with information is asked to call 215-546-TIPS.
