A teenage girl was left injured in a shooting at an Overbrook home early Wednesday morning.
Shortly after 4 a.m., a 14-year-old black female was struck in her shoulder by an apparent stray bullet at a residence on the 1600 block of North 61st Street in the Overbrook neighborhood, according to authorities.
The victim was transported by medics to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she was treated and placed in stable condition, police said
There were no arrests made in the immediate aftermath, and the investigation is ongoing, local authorities said. No weapons have been recovered.
