At least two people were killed and seven others injured in separate shootings Saturday in Philadelphia.

Then, on Sunday afternoon, a man was wounded after gunfire erupted in North Philadelphia.

A 25-year-old man was struck in the left elbow and taken to Pennsylvania Hospital in a private vehicle, authorities said. His injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.

He told investigators that he left a house on the 400 block of Dickinson Street to walk to a nearby store when he heard gunshots, possibly in the area of 4th and Reed streets. He ran before feeling pain in his abdomen and calling a friend to take him to the hospital.

The victim told officers he didn’t see who was shooting. He was later transferred to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he is in stable condition, authorities said.
