Two men were killed in separate shootings Saturday night in Philadelphia.

Authorities said a 25-year-old man died after being shot multiple times just before 11:45 p.m. on the 3400 block of N. 16th Street in the Tioga section of North Philadelphia.

Earlier, at around 8:45 p.m., someone shot a 26-year-old man several times on the 5100 block of Haverford Avenue in West Philadelphia, police said. He succumbed to his injuries a short time later at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police have not identified the victims, and no one was arrested in the immediate aftermath of either shooting.

This year, 81 people have been killed in the city, down 20% compared to this time in 2022, according to police department data.
