2 teens killed in West Philly shooting

Two teenagers died Wednesday afternoon after gunfire erupted in West Philadelphia, authorities said.

Police described both of the victims as boys around 15 years old, though their exact ages were not provided.

The shooting occurred just before 12:15 p.m. on the 200 block of N. 56th Street. A third boy, age 16, was shot in the shoulder and taken to Lankenau Medical Center in stable condition, according to authorities.

No one was arrested in the immediate aftermath of the incident.

Early Wednesday, just after 12:30 a.m., a 38-year-old man was shot in the groin, hip and mouth on the 1800 block of N. 26th Street in North Philadelphia, police said. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Two men were killed in seemingly unrelated shootings minutes apart Tuesday night in North Philadelphia.

Just after 8 p.m., 27-year-old Shareef Williamson died after being shot multiple times on the 2600 block of N. 12th Street, only about a block away from where he lived, according to authorities.

Also injured in the shooting was a 27-year-old man who was taken to Temple University Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.

Moments earlier, Lawrence Wyatt, 47, of North Philadelphia, was gunned down on the 1300 block of N. 21st Street, authorities said.

A 30-year-old pregnant woman was injured in a double shooting that occurred at around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday on the 5400 block of Pearl Street in West Philadelphia, investigators said.

She is expected to survive after being shot three times, sustaining wounds to her head and chest, according to police.

The other victim, a 48-year-old man, was struck in the left shoulder and hip. His injuries are also not considered life-threatening.

Police said someone opened fire at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hunting Park, hitting a 35-year-old man twice in the left elbow.

Investigators said the shooting occurred on the 3900 block of N. Percy Street. The victim, who was also grazed in the buttocks, was listed in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.

Earlier in the night, just before 10:15 p.m., a 32-year-old man was seriously injured after being shot in the stomach on the 4200 block of N. Broad Street in Nicetown, authorities said.

No arrests were reported in connection with any of the shootings.
