Stage is set for the 2024 XPoNential Music Festival

The XPoNential Music Festival is returning to the Camden waterfront, and this year’s lineup is bigger than ever.

Trampled By Turtles, Guster and The Heavy Heavy are just a few of the names gracing the stage during the annual three-day festival— which takes place on Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 22.

This is the 41st edition of Philadelphia public radio station WXPN’s annual outdoor festival. Held on the banks of the Delaware River, it has flourished over the past four decades, and is known nationally for its extensive lineup of established, emerging and local artists.

On Friday, Sept. 20, festival goers will enjoy sets by The Walkmen, Pete Yorn, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, Cedric Burnside, Velvet Rouge and Carla Gamble.

Saturday’s lineup (Sept. 21) includes Rosanne Cash, Greensky Bluegrass, Phosphorescent, Blondshell, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, Lizzie No, Florry and Moustapha Noumbissi.

And then on Sunday, Sept. 22, Guster will close out the festival with other performers Trampled By Turtles, Jade Bird, Bully, The Heavy Heavy, Julia Pratt, Grace Bowers and Brittany Ann Tranbaugh.

Many of the acts are returning from previous stints at the XPoNential Festival—Guster played in 2009 and 2019, Rosanne Cash in 2010, and Trampled By Turtles in 2013.

The 2024 XPoNential Music Festival will take place at Wiggins Waterfront Park in Camden, New Jersey, Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 22.

Attendees can bring low-back beach chairs and coolers with their own meals (no alcohol can be brought in), and use free water refill stations. There will be plenty of food and rink options available for purchase, and also a children’s area that includes face painting and other activities.
