Celebrate everything there is to eat, drink, see and experience in the 215 during the 2nd Annual 215 Day this Saturday, Feb. 15.

215 Day is a celebration of all things local, organized and curated in Philadelphia by Do215 Market Lead Ellei Johndro. The name of the event recognizes Philly’s oldest and original area code generated in 1947.

“After the giant success of the first 215 Day Presented by Do215 we wanted to raise the bar for year two with more, bigger and better in year two,” said Johndro. “For the second year of this annual traditional, we are jam packing even more into the 24 hours to celebrate the best our city has to offer.”

The 2nd Annual 215 Day will shine the spotlight on local eats and drinks, goodies and giveaways. The public is invited to engage with 215 Day through contests and prizes from local businesses, access to exclusive events, concerts and deals.

New this year is the Inaugural Do215 and 215 Day themed Gritty City Crawl. Participants can get into their best Gritty outfit and join the masses for a trek through Northern Liberties and Fishtown neighborhoods in honor of 215 Day. Gritty-enthusiasts can also enjoy an mix of pit stops along the way, with local eateries serving up brews, cocktails, snacks and more. The crawl is no charge to participate but RSVP is required.

“Philadelphia is a thriving city with everything from incredible restaurants to fantastic venues, some of the greatest sports teams and fans, theaters and concerts, museums, major events, and more all running the gamut from an intimate to a grandiose scale,” said Johndro. “With 215 Day, we want to bring attention to our go-to guide for everything happening in Philly every day and night of the week. It is a chance to connect people to their city and help them explore and discover all the gems that make Philly truly a one-of-a-kind place to live and visit.”
