At least three people were wounded in shootings Saturday in Philadelphia.
Just before 5 p.m., someone shot a 27-year-old man several times on the 600 block of E. Westmoreland Street in Kensington, police said. He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said a man was detained and a gun was recovered at the scene, but no further information was released.
Earlier, at around 11:15 a.m., a 32-year-old man was shot multiple times inside a store on the 6700 block of Ogontz Avenue in West Oak Lane, according to authorities. He was later listed in stable condition at Einstein Medical Center.
No one was arrested in the immediate aftermath of the shooting.
A 32-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot twice in the chest at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on the 5900 block of Chester Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia, police said. No arrests have been reported.
