Three men were killed and at least four other people were injured in gun violence this weekend across Philadelphia.
Police did not release many details about some of the incidents, including information about the victim or the circumstances of the shooting.
On Sunday, just before 3 a.m., two men were struck when gunfire erupted on the 1700 block of W. Ruscomb Street in Logan, according to authorities.
Investigators said one of the victims was rushed to Einstein Medical Center, where he died a short time later. No updates were provided about the condition of the other man.
Officers responded at around 1 a.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting at the corner of Spencer Avenue and Warnock Street in the Fern Rock neighborhood. The PPD said an adult man showed up in a private vehicle at Einstein and died of his injuries.

About 15 minutes earlier, someone shot a man on the 600 block of E. Thayer Street in Kensington, police said. He was pronounced dead at 1:02 a.m. at Temple University Hospital, according to authorities.
In Frankford, a man in his 20s was shot in his abdomen just after 4:15 a.m. Sunday on the 5200 block of Torresdale Avenue, investigators said. Police did not provide information about the extent of his injuries.
On Saturday, at around 8:15 p.m., shots were fired at 52nd and Webster streets in West Philadelphia, leaving a 60-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his neck, officials said. He was hospitalized and is expected to survive, according to the PPD.
A 27-year-old man was in critical condition after he was shot multiple times at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on the 4200 block of Germantown Avenue in Nicetown, authorities said.
Nearly twenty spent shell casings and a gun were recovered from the scene, investigators said, adding that detectives are searching for two suspects.

Homicides are down 17% this year in Philadelphia, compared to the same date in 2024, and the number of shooting victims has also dropped by about 9%, according to police data.
