3 Things to look for in Game 3

1. Shooting blanks.

One big reason why the Flyers hold a 2-0 lead in this series: They’ve kept Montreal’s two hottest players off the score sheet.

Mike Cammalleri and Scott Gomez account for almost 50 percent of the Habs’ 39 goals in the post-season, but have been held to a combined nine shots.

With the ability to make the last change and get the Flyers in a defensive mismatch, expect Montreal coach Jacques Martin to throw Cammalleri or Gomez on the ice every time defensive liability, Ryan Parent, is on the ice.

2. Who’s in net?

Canadien netminder Jaroslav Halak continued the bizarreness in Game 2 with 20 saves. When he’s stopped 31 shots or less, the Habs are 0-7.

The Flyers’ offensive efficiency spells trouble for Montreal’s Cup hopes.

3. Wing a prayer.

Flyers wing Ville Leino is becoming a go-to guy down the stretch.

After coming over in a midseason trade and playing in 13 regular-season games, Leino has flashed his skills. He’s averaging more than a point per game (11 points) in the playoffs. He scored and assisted on another Tuesday.

“When I came here, I was just thinking I’m going to play my own hockey no matter what,” Leino said. “I’m going to play the way I know I can play NHL hockey.”
