Revolutionary Germantown Festival

Over the year this event has grown and expanded to include plenty of fun and historical attractions and events for families especially. The festivals main event is a reenactment of the Battle of Germantown, the only military battle ever fought within the borders of Philadelphia. This event will go on rain or shine.

Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse
Kids love the chance to run free on the playground and the playhouse is full of fun and interesting activities for your little munchkins. Smith’s beautiful, 16,000 square foot Playhouse was designed solely as a play space for children by one of Philadelphia’s most prominent late 19th century architects, James H. Windrim.
