Koo Zee Doo Portuguese Pop Up at Cry Baby Pasta
Experience Portuguese fare for one night only at Cry Baby Pasta in Queen Village. Chefs David Gilberg and Carla Goncalves will take over the restaurant’s kitchen for a special pop up dinner highlighting dishes from their former acclaimed restaurant in Northern Liberties, Koo Zee Doo. Ya Gotta Try This
Eat for a good cause while sampling dishes from more than 40 restaurants. Fox 29 news anchor Mike Jerrick teams up with nonprofit CORE to bring his popular TV segment to life while raising money to support families of food and beverage service workers recovering from illness, injuries or domestic abuse. Jerrick’s popular “Ya Gotta Try This” segment puts a spotlight on Philadelphia restaurants as Jerrick samples signature dishes and interviews the people behind the scenes of your favorite restaurants. The fundraiser will feature plates from notable chefs including Nick Elmi of Laurel, Guillermo Pernot of Cuba Libre and Jose Garces.

East Passyunk Witch CRAFT Beer Crawl
The 10th annual Witch CRAFT Beer Crawl returns to East Passyunk for a night of seasonal craft beers, pointy hats and spooky fun. After paying the $6.66 ticket price, enjoy $4 brews at more than 10 bars and restaurants in East Passyunk. Dress in your scariest or most glamorous Halloween costume for a chance to win the costume contest at the end of the evening. Go Beyond Celiac Gala
Celiac disease research and advocacy nonprofit Beyond Celic is throwing their annual fundraiser featuring a very special guest. The gala at the Kimmel Center double as the Philly debut of Mexican opera singer Arturo Chacón-Cruz. This special performance will include traditional Mexican music as well as opera arias. The event also features a cocktail hour and gourmet dinner in the gorgeous Hamilton Garden on the top floor of the Kimmel Center. Choose between purchasing tickets for just the concert or the entire gala.
