Yard’s Make The World Better Beer Launch

Monk’s Cafe will host the launch of Yards’ Make The World Better Beer, a collaboration with former Philadelphia Eagle Connor Barwin. Guests will have the first taste of the new beer, plus rare beers from Yards, a multi-course beer pairing dinner (including delicious dishes like Muscovy Duck Breast and Ribeye Steak) and a meet and greet with Barwin and current Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce.  All proceeds from the event will benefit  Barwin’s Make The World Better Foundation.

Jo Koy Break the Mold Tour

Franklin’s Test Kitchen 

It’s food science month at the Franklin Institute, and guests are invited to enhance their understanding of the science behind food and cooking during Kitchen Science Day. With the help of Frog Commissary, explore the physics, chemistry, and biology of cooking and baking, from making butter to baking bread. This event takes the science of cooking and turns it into a fun event for the whole family.

Royal Boucherie Happy Hour

The  American-inspired brasserie and raw bar has launched a new happy hour from Lead Bartender Zeq Rudy. Every Monday-Friday from 5-7 pm, guests can enjoy $7 Bartender’s Choice cocktails, $7 glasses of Loire Valley red and white, prosecco on tap and $4 draft beers. Plus half priced bites are available including  Pork Stuffed Fried Olives, Chicken Liver Toasts and Crispy Squash Tempura.

2nd Annual Share Your Heart Benefit Concert

The four-hour benefit concert will feature live performances from two alternative bands, haha charade and The Barker Bros. All proceeds made through ticket sales will go to AFTH’s Birth Parent Scholarship Fund. In addition to concert entry, each ticket purchase includes food and one free drink. Concert attendees will also be able to partake in raffles for top-notch prizes like autographed Philadelphia sports memorabilia, and gift certificates to some of the area’s best restaurants. A great event if you are looking for things to do in Philly this week.
