Five people, including three teenagers, were wounded in separate shootings Sunday night across the city.

A 42-year-old man was shot during an attempted robbery at around 11:45 p.m. on the 1700 block of Rodman Street in Center City, authorities said.

Investigators said two men, one of whom was carrying a handgun, approached him, and the victim grabbed the gun. A shot was fired during the struggle, and the victim was struck in his leg, according to police. He was treated and later released from Jefferson University Hospital.

Minutes earlier, at around 11:40 p.m. Sunday, someone shot a 15-year-old boy in the face on the 200 block of Collom Street in East Germantown, authorities said. Officers took him to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where he was listed in stable condition.

Two people were hit when gunfire erupted just after 8:15 p.m. Sunday on the 2700 block of Glenwood Avenue in North Philadelphia, according to investigators.

Police said a 15-year-old boy was hospitalized in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his upper back and knee. The other victim, a 19-year-old man, was shot twice in his elbow and was being treated for nonlife-threatening injuries, authorities said.

A 41-year-old man is expected to survive after he was shot a dozen times throughout his body at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday on the 4600 block of Hellerman Street in Tacony, police said.

No one was arrested in the immediate aftermath of any of the shootings.
