Football season is here, and in Philadelphia it’s a big deal. Through thick and thin, Eagles fans root for their home team with a wholeheartedness that’s downright inspiring. Craftsman Row Saloon This Jewelers’ Row gem has multiple large flat screen TVs and will be serving up a special “Game Day” burger. The toppings will change for each game and the most recent burgerincluded three smashed beef patties with jalapeno mac & cheese and caramelized onion on a pretzel bun. Yum! Fans can also enter a raffleto win prizes like gift certificates and jerseys on game day. The Little Lion This relatively new Old City spot may be called “The Little Lion,” but it certainly makes a big roar for game day with its upstairs television and special menu offerings that won’t break the bank. With $3 Lagers and Buck-A-Shuck Oysters, you won’t leave hungry or thirsty. Nick’s Bar and Grille After undergoing a recent renovation of their bar and dining room, Nick’s Bar and Grille even added a smoker this summer. With TVs in both the bar and dining room, all NFL games will be broadcast on Thursdays, Sundays and Mondays. They also have some pretty sweet deals on libations — $3 domestic pints and $10 buckets of Rolling Rock, Miller Light, Miller High Life and Lager Light. Drury Beer Garden All season long, guests can watch the Eagles game at the outdoor beer garden behind the Sansom Street restaurant, Opa. When the weather gets colder, Drury Beer Garden will have a tent and heaters to keep fans warm and toasty as well. During each game, $4 select craft drafts will be available.
