The Perennial Gaze at the Asian Arts Initiative

Join in to experience the unveiling of Shahzia Sikander’s mural The Perennial Gaze as part of their 25th Anniversary celebration. Refreshments will be served as you discuss the creative process behind The Perennial Gaze and more with the artist herself. You can register online for the event.

Producers Dinner at High Street on Market

Owners Ellen Yin and Eli Kulp featuring guest Jonathan Adams of Rival Bros. Coffee will host a special meal featuring coffee-infused fare from Chef Andrew Farley and Adams. You can look forward to dishes including, Coffee Gnocchi with lamb ragu and crispy garlic, Crumbed Mackerel and Smoked Capon with Anadama-coffee crumb, heirloom beans, braised greens and Albufera plus Espresso Tart with dark chocolate ganache, apple confit and white coffee ice cream.

PSPCA hosts Friends trivia at Punch Line Philly 

Start off the evening with a happy hour from 5-7pm featuring Philadelphia Brewing and Tito’s Vodka drink specials, a 50/50 raffle and more. Then move on to the Friends trivia hosted by 96.5 TDY’s Bennett. Ticket proceeds from the event will benefit the PSPCA’s life-saving mission. Perfect if you are looking for things to do in Philly this week.

Community Night at the Franklin Institute 

Everyone is welcome to join in the fun at these free, educational and fun-filled science extravaganzas that include The Franklin Institute’s famous permanent exhibits, special programs, and hands-on activities.

Banquet des Chasseurs at Bistrot La Minette

Chef-Owner Peter Woolsey is briefly suspending a la carte service in honor of their 10th anniversary, offering instead a multi-course feast paired with endless “toasts” in the form of pastis, kirs and red and white wines – all inspired by one of Chef Woolsey’s most memorable nights in France. All meals will end with house-baked croissants to take home. Some featured dishes include Assiette de Fromages: a family-style cheese plate including Delice de Bourgogne, Aged Comté and Bleu d’Auvergne, served with green salad and fig compote and Tarte aux Myrtilles: a blueberry tart with almond pastry cream and blueberry sorbet.

SWEAT + Sip for ALS

SWEAT Fitness’ Queens Village location is hosting a charity cycling class where 100% of proceeds from each ticket sold will go directly to the ALS Association.
