Old City First Friday

On the first Friday of each month, Old City’s galleries, studios, shops and restaurants open their doors for First Friday, a unique and memorable exhibition of the neighborhood’s vibrant arts scene. All of the galleries, studios, shops, bars and restaurants participating are offering drink specials, delicious food, live music and much more.

Chestnut Hill Brewing Beer Launch  

Chestnut Hill Brewing recently partnered up with the nonprofit Today is a Good Day to create a special brew to help out Today’s cause (providing personal and financial support for families with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). The Today is a Good Day IPA will launch this Friday, and the keg tap will also mark the kick off for Today’s signature fundraiser, Pints for Preemies, which will take place on Saturday, April 4, at Flourtown Country Club.

Great Catsby 

All animal lovers will love this event that not only helps the homeless, abandoned and unwanted pets of the Greater Philadelphia region, but also is just a ton of fun. The Great Catsby will support Morris Animal Refuge with vital programs including the Lifesaver Fund, the Fostering Program and the Adoption Program. The event will feature gourmet foods and an open bar featuring signature cocktails such as the Clover Club, kitty and puppy cuddling, Prosecco Pong, a Prohibition Pull, a silent auction and much more.

This annual event at the Mütter Museum is full of mystery, allure and a lot of excitement. To celebrate Dr. Mütter’s 209th birthday, the museum will be celebrating with a 13 dish dinner orchestrated by Catering By Design, 13 different acts (think performances from the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts and others), bottomless cocktails, live music, dancing and much, much more. Dressing to impress at this black-tie event is highly encouraged.

Evil Genius Beer Co. 3rd Birthday for the Lab

This outdoor block party will feature plenty of fun, treats and of course, beer. The theme this year is “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and the event will feature a special batch of the Evil Genius exclusive brew—the Grapefruit Pale Ale “Turtle Power,” 90s memorabilia, TMNT cutouts, decor, local vendors, face painting, axe throwing and plenty more. The event is also dog-friendly, so feel free to bring along furry friends.

The Bourse Women’s History Pop-Up

The Bourse is celebrating Women’s History Month with a special pop-up this weekend. Philadelphians can shop till they drop with products from twenty women-owned businesses (think beer, beauty and everything in between) and listen to live entertainment from five female artists from REC Philly. According to the release, Tannery Run Brew Works and Triple Bottom Brewing Company are also operating a pop-up beer bar where they are pouring select brews in additional to having Crowler cans and merchandise for purchase, and guests can enter to win a basket of goodies from the vendors as well with all proceeds benefitting the Pink Boots Society – Greater Philadelphia Regional Chapter.
