Police said a 65-year-old man was hospitalized after he was stabbed in his leg just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday inside Pennypack Park, near the 3300 block of Welsh Road in Northeast Philadelphia. He is expected to physically recover.
In North Philadelphia, someone shot a 20-year-old man just after 2 a.m. Tuesday inside a property on the 3000 block of Germantown Avenue, according to authorities. He was hospitalized in stable condition.
At around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, a 24-year-old man showed up to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center after being shot in his chest and leg on the 4700 block of Baltimore Avenue in West Philadelphia, investigators said. He was later listed in critical condition.
On Monday, at around 11:45 p.m., a 27-year-old man walked into Jefferson Frankford Hospital with gunshot wounds to his neck and shoulder, authorities said.
Police were unable to pinpoint where the shooting took place. The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
A 25-year-old man was stabbed in his abdomen just before 11:45 p.m. Monday on the 3100 block of Kensington Avenue in Kensington, according to police. He was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
Earlier, at around 7:15 p.m., someone shot an 18-year-old man in his chest, back and buttocks on the 1600 block of N. 55th Street in Overbrook, authorities said. He was hospitalized in critical condition.
No arrests were reported in the immediate aftermath of any of the shootings or stabbings.
