76ers will try to hang on to ball against Celtics

The Sixers are not playing their best basketball as they head home after two losses on the road to host the Boston Celtics Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The struggling squad dropped to 15-34 with a 108-102 loss in Brooklyn Monday night. The loss was undoubtedly due to poor ball control; Philadelphia turned the ball over a season high matching 26 times.

“It continues to haunt us,” Sixers head coach Brett Brown said. “You have to get more responsible with the ball. I have to do a better job. It bites us continuously.”

Perhaps the Sixers can recapture some magic from their last meeting with the Celtics. Evan Turner hit a game-winning fadeaway as time expired in a 95-94 win in Boston on Jan 29.

The Sixers have not won a game since.
