77-year-old killed crossing East Falls street

A 77-year-old man was killed as he was crossing a busy street in East Falls this evening.

The man walked 15 to 20 feet into the intersection of Henry Avenue and Schoolhouse Lane at 6:39 p.m. when a driver who was was making a left onto Henry struck him.

The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he died at 7:16 p.m. The driver stopped and remained at the scene.
