10 places to watch the Eagles’ season opener in Brazil

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to make their 2024 season debut, traveling to São Paulo, Brazil, to face the Green Bay Packers on Friday, Sept. 6. To help you find the perfect spot to make your nest and enjoy another season of football, here are ten places to watch the game.

This free-to-attend event is the ultimate tailgate and watch party in the streets, where fans can watch their beloved Eagles take the field in Brazil on a massive projection screen in the middle of the street. The block party will feature ice-cold beer from Brauhaus Schmitz, delicious sandwiches from Woodrow’s Sandwich Shop, gourmet popcorn from Popcorn for the People, and much more.

It all begins at 5 p.m. before a pre-game celebration sets the stage from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with special guest Eagles legend Irving Fryar and a live DJ on hand to keep the energy up during the game.

Chickie’s & Pete’s

Chickie’s and Pete’s is a staple for watching the Birds. For fans who won’t make the trip to São Paulo, Chickie’s and Pete’s is hosting season-opening parties at all its locations. Beginning with a Gameday Happy Hour from 4 to 6 p.m., the bar will offer half-off pizza, shrimp, and wings, in addition to $6 seltzers, $5 Tito’s drinks, and $3 domestic bottles.
