Three full days of fantastic music are coming to the Philadelphia area later this month as WXPN’s annual XPoNential Music Festival returns for an incredible 32nd celebration. This year’s festival takes place from Sept. 19 to 21 and will be hosted at Wiggins Park on the Camden Waterfront.
Twenty-two acts will take the stage over the three-day festival, including headliners War, Sharon Van Etten & the Attachment Theory, and Courtney Barnett, supported by noteworthy groups like SNACKTIME, Soccer Mommy, the Spin Doctors and much more. The complete lineup showcases WXPN‘s signature blend of sounds, including roots, blues, indie rockers, singer-songwriters, and more.
Friday lineup

Friday features a six-group lineup featuring War, along with performances by Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Philly funk-soul band Snacktime, Southern Avenue, Black Buttafly, and Fawziyya Heart.
Saturday lineup

Saturday’s setlist features New Jersey’s Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, Molly Tuttle, Soccer Mommy, Richard Thompson, Kathleen Edwards, Tune-Yards, Owen Stewart, and Maxwell Stern & The Good Light Band.
Sunday lineup

Wrapping up the festival, on Sunday, Sept. 21, Courtney Barnett headlines the day with support from Greensky Bluegrass, the Spin Doctors, Craig Finn, Jersey-born Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Philly-based artist Zinadelphia, Michigander, and Emily Drinker.
“The XPoNential Music Festival has served as a staple event on the Camden Waterfront since 2005,” Commissioner Jeffrey Nash said. “As always, the festival has a wonderful lineup of diverse musical performances so there is truly something that everyone will enjoy. We cannot wait for this year’s event and encourage everyone to join us on the Waterfront.”
