Shoot Basketballs NOT People, founded by Garry Mills, is a community-driven initiative started in 2013 aimed at reducing violence through sports and wellness. The program offers youth and families opportunities to engage in activities like basketball, Pilates, yoga, and meditation, fostering a positive environment for physical and mental health.
Garry Mills, dedicated to creating safer neighborhoods, emphasizes the importance of community involvement and youth empowerment. His vision is to expand the program nationally, providing resources and support to underserved communities. Through events like the upcoming 2nd Annual Holiday Middle School Classic and his team are making strides in promoting peace and unity.

RAWK School Of Music
Rawk U School Of Music has been serving the Northwest Philadelphia since 2010. They have taught hundreds of students in that time frame. Project 440
Project 440 is a community-based youth-focused nonprofit organization that provides free after school programs for Philadelphia high school students. Its programs use music as the spark to help young people grow as individuals and members of their community. Project 440 opens our doors to all students regardless of their musical skill level, interest, or prior experience.
Students develop an entrepreneurial mindset, gain proficiencies in leadership and service, and learn about the college admissions process and career opportunities. Program participants attain a toolkit of 21st-century skills that serve them in high school, college, and beyond, whatever path they choose.
