This weekend holds a special event for all Philadelphians — both human and furry.

Public media station WHYY will be celebrating its 70th anniversary with a special event, the All Creatures Pet Fest with Morning Edition Host and Producer Jennifer Lynn, this Saturday, Sept. 28, from noon to 3:30 p.m.

Taking place at Peddler’s Village (100 Peddlers Village/ Rt. 202 and 265), this family-friendly fall event will have events and activations for pets and locals spanning professionals  on site to give tips and tricks, a contest, adoptions, prizes, different small businesses and more.

“All Creatures Great & Small is one of our most popular programs so we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate WHYY’s 70th anniversary than by bringing animal lovers together to celebrate the joy of pet companionship, learn about local pet resources and get excited about the upcoming All Creatures Great and Small season,” said WHYY President & CEO Bill Marrazzo in a statement.
