With the Patriots not in the Super Bowl, we can all feel more comfortable eating New England clam chowder in public. Through Feb. 2, Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House (3432 Sansom St. in Philly and 117 E. Gay St. in West Chester) is serving “super bowls” of chowder during its “Chowdah Month.” For $10, warm up with a bottomless bowl of New England clam, Maryland crab, or salmon and dill chowder. That’s all the chowder you can fit in your stomach during brunch, lunch or dinner. But we don’t recommend going right before the Super Bowl — you’ll need room for the nachos and wings.
