Alleged far-right extremist arrested in Philly

A self-described member of the Proud Boys, a far-right extremist organization, was charged Thursday after allegedly harassing a woman on Twitter, authorities said.

Prosecutors say Kyle Boell, 40, of Philadelphia, sent dozens of vulgar and threatening social media messages to the victim in November 2020. He was charged with making terroristic threats and harassment, both misdemeanors.

“Walked all threw Philly tonight u fat b—- I took a piss on ur book store on south st.,” he allegedly told her. “Antifa is done in Philly f— around u fat b—- and u will find out. Go report me call the cops.”

According to an Inquirer report, the target was Gwen Snyder, a West Philadelphia community organizer and far-right researcher.

Legal representation for Boell could not be immediately identified Thursday.

“The actions alleged here are abusive, vile, and dangerous,” First Assistant District Attorney Carolyn Temin said in a statement.

“Like all bullies, Kyle Boell is basically a coward who was afraid to use his real name and sent his disgusting messages to a woman while hiding behind the moniker ‘TattedA–hole80,’” she added.

Court records indicate Boell pleaded guilty in a 2010 drug case in Bucks County and served jail time after being convicted of aggravated assault in 1999.
