Eagles coach Andy Reid officially opened 2011 training camp at Lehigh University in typical Reid fashion, by saying nothing.
He wouldn’t “divulge” information on Kevin Kolb’s potential trade to Arizona, or the possibility of pursuing marquee free agents like Nnamdi Asomugha or Ray Edwards, or the impending holdout of star receiver DeSean Jackson. “I’m not going to talk about all that,” Reid said.
The coach did note that still unsigned rookie Danny Watkins would be his starting right guard, while Jamaal Jackson — who missed all of last season due to injury — is his starting center, and Winston Justice is his projected starter at right tackle. If Justice has problems, King Dunlap will get a shot.
When asked who his starter was at right cornerback, Reid said, “I’m not going to tell you that.”
