KENSINGTON – A woman similar in profile to the first two official victims of the “Kensington strangler” was found dead in a vacant lot and homicide detectives are investigating her death, police said last night.
The white woman believed to be in her 20s was found naked from the waist down in the 100 block of East Tusculum Street, police said. Just as the deluge of Strangler stories began to subside in the aftermath of Commissioner Ramsey’s first news conference on the search last week, the woman was discovered at about 5 p.m. last night.
