CITY HALL – Mayor Michael Nutter said the city will appeal an arbitrator’s four-year award for the firefighter’s union. The award would have called for no raise this year, but 3 percent increases in the next three years with no change to pension. Nutter claims it would cost the city $100 million over five years with little flexibility.
