Threemasked men strong-armed their way into a Northeast Philadelphia family’s home, and made off with jewelry, cash and Christmas presents for the kids.
Around 4 a.m. Sunday, the armed suspects knocked on the door of a home on the 4600 block of Oakmont Street, where five adults and three children live. The children’s father answered the door, and the suspects put a gun to his face, 6ABC reported.
“They took me around the house looking for stuff, throwing stuff around,” the father told the news station, addingthat the suspects asked him to open his safe.
After ransacking the home and taking their loot, including $750 in cash, the grinches fled out the front door on foot.
No injuries were reported and the children are safe, according to reports.
According to police, the suspects were all in dark clothing.
