The Philadelphia Police Department is looking for two suspects they say kicked and punched a man before stealing his car on Christmas Eve.
Cops said that around 5:10 a.m.on Dec. 24, a 32-year-old man was getting out of his car in the parking lot of the Quick Stop convenience store at 3000 Kensington Avenue –a spot nearby the notorious Kensington and Alleghenyintersection and between the Somerset and Allegheny Market-FrankfordLine stops.

Authorities reported that one suspect –described as a light-skinned black male, six-foot-one, 220 pounds, with a stocky build and a beard – approached the driver of the car and “began punching him.” As the driver was fighting off the suspect, another suspect approached and began “kicking and punching” him, cops alleged.
The second suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
When the driver of the car realized he was outnumbered, he fled the area on foot. At that point, cops said that the first suspect got into the man’s car, a silver 2001 Buick LaSabre, and fled the scene.
