Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. honored the cast of the ‘Jersey Shore’ on Sept. 22 by declaring the date Jersey Shore Day—or Jerzey for short—on the Atlantic City boardwalk outside the Hard Rock Casino.
Jersey Shore cast members Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Vinny Guadagnino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Angelina Pivarnick, Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino arrived outside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City via a Tram Car, where they met the mayor, who gave them each a proclamation.
Small pointed out in the Proclamation, the contributions the cast has made to the city, from “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio’s DJ residencies to Vinny Guadagnino’s recent performances with the Chippendales over the weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
It’s also where Jenni “JWoww” Farley also made “the backhand famous,” Small said, referring to the group’s Atlantic City visit when Farley smacked Sorrentino.
