Attackers ambush, chase down driver: Cops

Police are questioning two suspects in connection to an attack in Southwest Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

The victim, a34-year-old man, was parking his girlfriends car on the 3400 block of Angora Terrace when a suspect walked up to the driver’s side and began shooting, firing at least five shots, 6ABC reported. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m.

The victim managed to escape the car, and started running down the street.

Police told 6ABC the shooter fired at least 10 more shots while chasing the victim, before striking the victim in the head.

The suspect is now in critical condition at Penn Presbyterian Hospital. Police are not releasing his name.

Officials also told 6ABC the victim was found with crack cocaine at the hospital.
