B-West gets cleared, set to resume timeshare

Having passed their biggest test without him, the Eagles welcomed Brian Westbrook back into the game plan for their Sunday night battle with Dallas.

“He’s good to go,” head coach Andy Reid said of Westbrook, who sat out Sunday’s victory over the Giants with lingering symptoms from a concussion.

Westbrook admitted frustration, following offseason surgeries on his ankle and knee, an early season ankle injury and the concussion he suffered against the Redskins.

“It’s almost like every week, it’s been something for me,” he said. “I’m just excited to be able to play again.”

Westbrook has not been his All-Pro self from most of 2009. But he did say he felt rejuvenated at Washington, until the concussion.

“My legs felt good, my knee, my ankle felt good,” Westbrook said. “My first couple runs gave me confidence I could turn the corner and make a couple people miss.”

Westbrook will still split carries with rookie LeSean McCoy.
