High Street Hospitality x 1906 at Longwood Gardens
A partnership between 1906 at Longwood Gardens and High Street Hospitality is bringing two new seasonal treats to the forefront at High Street (101 S 9th Street, Suite 106) and Fork (306 Market Street). Now through Sept. 29, locals can try the Lavender Biscuit at High Street (topped with honey butter, apricot preserves, and Longwood dried flowers) and a Sweet Corn Semifreddo at Fork (made with Longwood Garden shiso granita and dried flowers, candied coriander and cornmeal streusel). The fresh bites are meant to showcase Longwood Gardens’ seasonal bounty, and the vibration of late summer flavors blending into fall.

Pumphouse Pizza
There are a few new pizzas added to the menu at Fringe Bar’s outdoor locale for the season. Pumphouse is currently whipping up a Corn Pizza (topped with corn cream, grilled corn, mozzarella, Calabrian chili puree, and Romano) and a French Onion pizza (made with caramelized onions, garlic ricotta, mozzarella, and provolone) for the fall. Visitors can pair it up with some of the venue’s other cheesy pies, truffle frites, lemon pepper wings and more.

The Rittenhouse Hotel
The Rittenhouse’s Mary Cassatt Tea Room has debuted a new line-up of fall teas and bites to be enjoyed in their indoor/outdoor venue. Flavors of tea span seasonal sippers like Hazel’s Tonic and Emerald Nectar, plus, the locale will also be whipping up freshly baked scones (like blueberry, oat, brown butter, and apple) for the harvest season.

Festival de Empanadas at Jezabel’s
The fall brings a lot of reasons to celebrate—including Hispanic Heritage Month. Festival de Empanadas at Jezabel’s is here to commemorate the occasion with a feast of local flavors on Oct. 12 (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) The lineup includes Amy’s Pastelillos, Puyero, El Mictlan, with more to be confirmed—each presenting their own signature take on empanadas, pastelillos, or filled pastries. The event is free to attend (no tickets required), and guests may purchase empanadas directly from each vendor. Special Empanada Boxes, featuring one empanada from each participating restaurant, will be available for pre-sale on Resy as well. Note, quantities are limited, so guests are encouraged to pre-order and arrive early.

This veggie-forward brand is taking a fall favorite and putting it into smoothie form. Only available in September, locals can nab the Caramel Apple Shake made with organic vegan vanilla ice cream, Pennsylvania apples and vegan caramel. The treat will be available at all three city locations of the brand until the end of the month.

Craftsman Row Saloon
Craftsman Row Saloon knows how to get decked out for the holidays, especially Halloween. This year’s spooky pop-up experience has been dubbed the “Nightmare Before Christmas: Spooktacular Movie Mash,” and is open to the public now through Oct. 31. And with it comes a slew of new seasonal menu items.
The Cromwell’s Pot Pie takes the shape of a witches hat for one, the Jack O Melt is served on pumpkin bread, while the Fright Night French Toast Burger is made up of two smashed patties, American cheese, bacon, eggs and strawberry-maple syrup on jack-o-lantern country bread. Drinks-wise, Philadelphians can sip on picks like the Candytini or Skeleton Punch. The former is made up of candy corn-infused vodka, buttershots, pineapple juice, fee foam, grenadine, whipped cream and candy corn, while the latter features Captain Morgan spiced rum, pineapple and cranberry juice in a keepsake skeleton cup.
The menu’s grand finale comes from the venue’s signature packed milkshake creations. Options being served up in 2025 span the “Graveyard” (local mint chocolate chip ice cream, sugar cookies, brownies, marshmallows, gummy worms, candy, crushed Oreo dirt and whipped cream), the “Scary Movie Night” (local cookie dough ice cream, chocolate and caramel sauce, popcorn, Halloween Candy, a cookie crumble and a Rice Krispie in a keepsake popcorn bucket) and the “Pumpkin to Talk About” (local pumpkin pie ice cream, edible fall leaves, a pumpkin cookie, marshmallows, pumpkin pie, a Tastykake, whipped cream and a caramel drizzle.)

Fall brings out a lot of flavor—including for soup season. And Shake Shack is celebrating the classic French Onion dish with a few new menu items. Fresh seasonal bites here span a French Onion Burger (made with Gruyère cheese, caramelized onions, crispy sweet onions, and roasted garlic parmesan aioli), the French Onion Shroom Burger (a portobello mushroom filled with melted Muenster and cheddar cheeses, finished with caramelized onions and roasted garlic parmesan aioli) the French Onion Stack Shack (beef layered with a ‘Shroom Burger and all its fixings), parmesan garlic fries and onion rings.
