A bicyclist is dead after a fatal North Philadelphia shooting early Thursday morning.
Police have stated that a 21-year-old on a bike was gunned down near the corner of 25th and Clearfield streets, CBS reported.

Officers found the victim on the sidewalk after he abandoned his bike and attempted to run away, eventually collapsing, Fox stated in a related article. At least seven shots were fired, some hitting parked cars.
The victim was transferred to Temple University Hospital where he died, Fox added.
He reportedly lived on the block where the shooting took place, ABC reported.
The shooter was last seen leaving the location in a burgundy minivan, ABC added, also stating that police are currently looking at surveillance video to help them find the killer.
