Biker gang head charged in attack

The former head of the local Pagans Motorcycle Club was arrested Wednesday in connection with the January 2008 shooting and stabbing of fellow member at their Northeast Philadelphia clubhouse.

Steven “Gorilla” Mondevergine, 55, is charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting Timothy “Casual” Flood in the knee and stabbing him in the back. The District Attorney’s office says “officials believe the attack on Flood stemmed from a personal dispute within the club.” Flood was named in a racketeering indictment last year.
