The Ravens boast the league’s best run defense through the opening 3 weeks, allowing an average of just 50 yards per game. James Cook looked solid in the opening 2 games but only mustered 39 yards against the Jaguars. It’s easy to see the Bills getting away from the run in what could be a higher-paced game, so I like the under here.
Despite their run defense prowess, the Ravens are actually allowing a league-high average in yards per game vs tight ends. Dalton Kincaid is yet to really catch fire this season, registering just 85 yards on 8 receptions. We might finally see him break over the 50-yard mark in a game this week, but I like 40 as a safer bet.
Lamar Jackson has gone over this total in 2 of the first 3 games this season and surpassed the 220 mark 8 times last season. With the Bills presenting a tough defensive challenge against the run that could see Derrick Henry bottled up, this again could be a scenario where we see the Ravens quarterback air it out consistently under the primetime lights as he seeks to get his Baltimore team back on track.
The Ravens cornerback has posted tackles numbers of 3,4,5 through the opening 3 weeks, giving him a solid floor to bet on here. He’s going to see a lot of action as one of the rising stars of the secondary. Stephens was among the league’s most targeted corners last year and with his play improving and his tendency to make plays around the ball only growing, this feels like a solid addition to any wager.
