Ah, the Bloody Mary — the perfect drink for when you can’t decide if you want a V8 or a shot of vodka. This event’s organizers claim to have scoured Philly for the best local renditions — some of them highly creative — and whittled the list down to the ones you absolutely must try.
Spend your afternoon sampling as many as you can handle, from Ela, Nodding Head (before they leave for the suburbs!), Farmicia, Dog and Bull Brew House, Bar Ferdinand, Bainbridge Street Barrel House, Jones and Garces Trading Company. There will be snacks too, in case theleafy garnishes aren’t enough.
