Joey “Eye” Intrieri, it’s time for your close-up. The colorful local boxing promoter, renowned “cut man” and actor is the subject of a bidding war between rival networks. After seeing his sizzle reel, Discovery Channel and A&E are looking at Eye’s mannerisms and ba-da-bing lexicology for a reality show following him through his exploits in the boxing world and beyond.

The annual Great Chefs Event for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and the Vetri Foundation for Children at Urban Outfitters HQ raised about $1 million, including $10,000 for dinner at Vetri’s private dining room with Bobby Flay and tutu-wearing staff. Another fundraiser, 102.9 WMGK’s John DeBella Veterans Radiothon raised $144,173 to benefit Philly vets. Raspy rocker Rod Stewart donated $10,000 and a guitar, autographed during his December Wells Fargo Center gig, which earned another $2,500 via eBay.
