Boston Market recently treated more than 80 staff members of the Pennsylvania SPCA, at 350 E. Erie Ave., to their new premium desserts in celebration of #NationalRescueDogDay. Founded in 1867, the PSPCA is the state’s oldest—and the nation’s second oldest—animal welfare organization. With a strict no-kill philosophy, the PSPCA has achieved a 97-percent live-release rate. If you’ve been thinking about getting a furry friend, now is the perfect time to do it as there are so many dogs and cats waiting for forever homes.
