Boy, 13, struck by police car

A 13-year-old boy was hurt after a police car hit the boy Friday eveningin Spring Garden.

The victim was struck just after 5 p.m. at Broad Street and Fairmount Avenue, 6ABC reported.

The victim was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The officer was not hurt, Philly.com reported.
