A 14-year-old boy brought a homemade bomb to his Feltonville School on Wednesday, according to reports, and is now being charged with causing and risking catastrophe, reckless endangerment and other related offenses.
Reports show the bomb was a plastic bottle filled with household chemicals and water. It blew up in the courtyard of Feltonville School for the Arts and Sciences, located on Courtland Street, reports say, shortly into the school day. There were no injuries reported. The school had been evacuated as a precaution though.
The boy lives in Hunting Park. He has been suspended from school and an investigation is ongoing.
