Twelve passengers and the driver of a Septa bus were taken to area hospitals after a morning rush hour accident.
The Route 16 bus collided with another vehicle at about 9 a.m. at the intersection of North Broad and Bristol Street.
The exact cause of the accident is under investigation, said Septa spokesman Andrew Busch.
Busch said the injuries were minor.
“As far as we know, they’ve been treated and released,” Busch said.
Officials didn’t have an official count as to how many people were on the bus at the time of the collision.
“That’s a pretty busy route, most likely it was a full bus,” Busch said.
