Camden is no longer ‘most dangerous’

NEW JERSEY – Camden fell from the top — it is no longer the most dangerous city in America. It’s No. 2.

An annual ranking by a company called CQ Press ranked St. Louis above Camden for the 2010-2011 crime statistics compiled by the FBI. The Missouri city has 2,070.1 violent crimes per 100,000 residents, compared with a national average of 429.4.

Detroit, Flint, Mich., and Oakland rounded out the top five.
