Camden prison guard and ‘associate’ of ‘Killer Clown’ charged for snooping

A Camden corrections officer who was discovered to have gone on a trip to Las Vegas with an alleged drug dealeris nowcharged with official misconduct for searching confidential case files.

Jamail Danford, 39, of Sicklerville, NJ, is charged with official misconduct for using a “a secure law enforcement computer database to view privileged case information relating to a narcotics investigation,” the Camden County Prosecutor’s office announced Wednesday.

Prosecutors also said Danfordhas a “close association”with Harold “Killer Clown” Miller — who is currently facing charges of leading a drug-dealing enterprise.

The two men and others traveled to Las Vegas in June 2015, prosecutors said.

In September, federal prosecutors chargedMiller,a longtime homeless advocate in Camden, September withselling cocaine and heroin in an open-air drug market in Camden.

As for Danford, he allegedly accessed the law enforcement database “on various dates betweenAugust 26 and October 21,” prosecutors said. “He allegedly viewed privileged case information and ran searches on multiple people who were not housed in the Camden County Correctional Facility.”

Danford is being held on $75,000 bail and could face up to 10 years in jail on the charges.
