Campus Philly, known for being a college student’s go-to for living, learning, and launching their careers in the City of Brotherly Love has always provided fun and informative events as part of their repertoire. Recently, Campus Philly announced its spring 2020 programming, and this year holds a lot of fun and unique activities.
“Campus Philly’s calendar of events is specially curated to provide unique and exciting experiences for college students to get off campus and fall in love with Philadelphia,” said Campus Philly President, Deborah Diamond in a release. “Our spring 2020 lineup offers something for everyone—from college seniors exploring different career options to freshmen looking to find their community—there are many opportunities for college students to connect to Philly in a meaningful, memorable way.”
Campus Philly will be hosting college nights where free or discounted admission will be offered for college students with a valid ID. College students can head to BlueCross RiverRink Winterfest on Feb. 5 to ice skate and indulge in all of the RiverRink’s other fun winter-themed offerings, or head to The African American Museum in Philadelphia on Feb. 21 to peruse the historic establishment’s exhibits and then to see “Madame Butterfly” at Opera Philadelphia on April 29 to witness the classic production with their own eyes.
The nonprofit organization will also be holding Launch Events and Leadership Programs.
On February 1, college students can head to the Inclusive Leadership Conference at Temple University which strives to build a better Philadelphia by giving college students from around the region the chance to enhance their leadership knowledge and skills through presentations, workshops, dialogues, and panels on topics related to inclusive leadership and social change, according to the event page.
Then, on Feb. 11 Wired Philly will be hosting a networking event for STEM majors at The Franklin Institute and then on March 20-30, Intern Philly will be hosting a virtual job fair on CampusPhilly.org/Launch.
