The driver of a stolen car was killed in Oxford Circle on Saturday morning after running a stop sign and crashing into a U-Haul, according to police.
The crash occurred at 8:47 a.m. when the driver of the stolen vehicle, a 2010 silver Mazda 3, ran through a stop sign heading westbound on Princeton Avenue.The Mazda struck the middle of the U-Haul on the driver’s side.The U-Haul was driving south on Summerdale Avenue, where there is no stop sign.
Paramedics pronounced the driver of the Mazda dead when they arrived.
The driver of the U-Haul was brought to Einstein Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The owner of the Mazda had called 911 to report the car stolen at 9:45 a.m.
