Carson Wentz proposes to girlfriend days after Super Bowl victory

Carson Wentz’s week just got even better.

The Eagles player proposed to his girlfriend Madison Oberg, and according to his enthusiastic social media photos, it went well. Wentz shared the news around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, via Twitter.

“She said YES! And now Maddie and I both got us a ring… can’t wait to marry my best friend! God is doing some amazing things and I can’t thank him enough!” Wentz wrote on Twitter.

The big moment came just two days after Wentz’s team, the Philadelphia Eagles, won the Super Bowl by beating the New England Patriots 41-33. The Eagles quarterback hasn’t played since he tore his ACL in a game against the Rams on Dec. 10, 2017, however, he still has a Super Bowl right thanks to Sunday’s big win.
